Passenger Pigeon Walk

Bring your kids on a guided walk through Aghaming Park and Preserve on Saturday, April 19 (Earth Day)! Witness and celebrate current wildlife as we remember the extinct passenger pigeon that last nested on the upper Mississippi in 1871. Two walks are planned: 10-11:30 am and 2-3:30 pm. The walk is free. Meet at the Wisconsin end of the wagon bridge (take the Latch island exit off the Interstate bridge). For more information, call Richie Swanson at 454-8478. Sponsored by the Mississippi River Revival.
